Technical Requirements for Various Structures and Components of Dry-Type Transformers
In the use of dry-type transformers, besides focusing on the performance parameters of main components such as windings and cores, each structural part also has corresponding technical requirements. Let’s summarize them below:
- Metal Enclosure: A metal protective enclosure may be installed. The enclosure panel shall be made of stainless steel with a thickness not less than 2 mm and must provide a certain level of protection rating.
- Base Feet: The transformer shall be equipped with base feet, provided with positioning holes for installation.
- Lifting Rings: Lifting rings shall be installed on the top, and traction holes shall be provided on the base. The designated lifting/load-bearing points shall be clearly marked.
- Core: The core shall possess corresponding mechanical strength to prevent loosening or deformation during long-distance transportation and long-term operation.
- Windings: Windings shall be made from oxygen-free copper wire from the same manufacturer and the same batch. Corresponding wiring markings shall be provided, and a "High Voltage Danger" sign shall be placed in a visible location, complying with the provisions of GB/T 5465.2.
- Temperature Monitoring Device: The device shall include functions such as core overtemperature alarm, winding overtemperature alarm, winding overtemperature trip, and enclosure door opening monitoring. It shall be independently installed with a protective switch and shall allow for replacement during transformer operation. The device shall also have data storage functionality, with an accuracy of not more than 1.0 class, a resolution not less than 10 ppi, and a巡回 temperature range of 0–200°C.
- Display Panel: The panel shall include an LCD screen, LED indicator lights, and operation buttons. It shall display real-time temperature and fault information, and allow setting and adjustment of various parameters via the operation buttons.
- Cooling Devices (e.g., Fans): The input power supply shall be AC 5A/220V, connected to the secondary side of the transformer (upstream of the low-voltage main incoming switch). The control power supply shall include input ports for AC 5A/220V and DC 5A/110V (220V), and corresponding start-stop control devices shall be configured.
- Terminals and Sleeves: Terminals shall be made of copper, with clean contact surfaces free from cracks, obvious scratches, burrs, corrosion spots, or other defects that could affect electrical contact or mechanical strength. They shall comply with the current GB/T 5273 standard and include anti-loosening measures.
Additionally, the transformer structure shall facilitate the replacement of bushings and porcelain parts. All steel materials shall undergo acid washing before anti-corrosion coating. All metal accessories, such as bolts, studs, threads, pipe threads, bolt heads, and nuts, shall be made of 304 stainless steel or higher-grade material.
